On September 11th, KMS 6th and 8th graders were able to attend the Oahu in STEP Science Show at Farrington High School Auditorium.
Oahu In STEP is a partnership project of Hawaii Literacy,
who, in keeping with its mission to help youth gain knowledge and skills and inspire greater literacy and lifelong learning, is serving as fiscal sponsor. Hawaii’s Department of Education (Farrington Complex Area) is also a committed lead sponsor, providing space, transportation and significant in-kind support for this important project. The mainstay and consistent partner in STEP since its inception is General Atomics. Piquing interest and motivating children through its science show presentations and exhibition booths, General Atomics continues to fascinate, stimulate and educate the developing scientific minds of our young students.
