On Saturday, February 11th, 46 KMS students (<<< click to see pic) participated in the 1st Annual Honolulu District Science Fair at Kapiolani Community College. Our students were competing with students from Dole, Washington, Stevenson and Niu Valley Middle Schools.

After a rigorous adjudication process, the following six projects are moving on to the Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair on April 2 - 4 at the Hawaii Convention Center! Three projects won special awards at the Honolulu District Science Fair: "Extracting DNA Traits", "Fossil Fuels Are Nothing Like Bio Fuels" and "Eye Trickster".
